Starkville Mayor Parker Wiseman, Oktibbeha County Supervisor Marvell Howard and Mississippi Senator Gary Jackson will be among the guest speakers at Starkville’s Observance of the 2016 National Day of Prayer. This year’s event will be at noon May 5 at the Starkville Sportsplex Activities Room. Come join us for a time to prayer for our community, our state and our nation.
While it is important to pray for the community and its leaders every day, Starkville’s Observance of the National Day of Prayer will be a special time for residents to come together as a group to pray for our community, our state and our nation.
Starkville’s observance of the National Day of Prayer is set for noon May 7 at the Starkville Sportsplex. The public is invited to attend.
As part of this year’s event, community leaders will share their personal testimony of the importance of prayer in eight key areas of every community, including government, military, business, media, family, church, education and healthcare. Continue reading
