Eupora’s Trunk or Treat set for Oct. 31


Trunk or TreatIt’s an occasion where chocolate makes everything better.

The sixth Annual Community Trunk-or-Treat event is set for 6-7 p.m. Oct. 31 in downtown Eupora. Trunks full of candy will be lined up along the “high side” of downtown Eupora for children to trick or treat in a safe, family friendly environment. The event will be held in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church of Eupora in the event of rain.

Members from each church as well as several businesses, churches and organizations throughout the community will have their vehicles decorated for a “family-friendly” Halloween event. First United Methodist Church of Eupora and Eupora’s First Baptist Church will provide hot dogs and sodas for children attending. Major sponsors for the event include North Mississippi Medical Center, Bank of Kilmichael, Sonic Drive In, Golden Living Center and the City of Eupora. Continue reading
