Members of the Junior Auxiliary of Winona agree that Jerry and Becky Flowers are both “servants to the community and continue to support the youth in our area.”
That is why the Flowers were named the 2017 Charity Ball King and Queen for the Junior Auxiliary of Winona in April.
“Becky and Jerry Flowers were a perfect choice for this year’s King and Queen,” said Tina Garrett, 2016-17 president of the Junior Auxiliary of Winona. “Both Becky and Jerry are very active in supporting the youth of this community. The Junior Auxiliary of Winona would like to thank Jerry and Becky Flowers for serving as this year’s Charity Ball King and Queen. Hope is at the core of everything they do.
Mission Hope in Winona has recently moved to a new location – a larger building to share the hope of Jesus Christ while providing hope and help to families in need in Carroll and Montgomery Counties. As of March 1, the program is now located at the old truck stop building at the corner of Highways 51 and 82.
“Much work has been done on the building and there is much to be done,” said Bro. Randy Dees, director of Mission Hope. “Ninety-five percent of the work done has been by volunteers. We invite the public to come visit us and see what we have to offer to the community.” Continue reading
