Pine Forest Baptist Church celebrated the retirement of three of its members with a special presentation and reception following the worship service. Lucy Jones retired from North Mississippi Medical Clinic in Eupora in January. J.B. Woods retired from Kansas City Southern Railways in February, and (not pictured) Bill Denton retired from Hankins Lumber Company in January.

What was your favorite blog post in February 2015?
This weekend, we celebrated my dad’s (J.B. Woods) retirement from Kansas City Southern Railroad with a fish dinner at Mike Anderson’s Restaurant in Gonzales, La. His last official day will be Feb. 27. I hope he enjoys retirement as much as he has enjoyed his long career with the railroad.
