A little history about Ash Wednesday…


EVGW_DayofDust_1It is a time to remember and reflect. It is celebrated all over the world, and today, there will be a variety of services for Ash Wednesday.

At Eupora First United Methodist Church, Ash Wednesday services will be held at noon and at 6 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The noon service will be a time of prayer (and if you desire) the “imposition of ashes.”  This will be a “come and go” service which ends at 12:30 p.m.

The 6 p.m. service will be a short service of worship, with music, scripture, prayer and “imposition of ashes.” Continue reading
