CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS — At City Trading Post in Winona, a steady stream of customers have been shopping throughout the Christmas season for decorations, tree fillers and other decorating items, according to Linda Montague.

Margaret Harris at Crossroads Jewelry said they have had “nice, steady business” throughout the Christmas season so far. Their top-selling item this year has been Victoria Cross earrings.

Cindy Shelton of Hammond’s Pharmacy in Winona said this year’s they were selling “a ton of fleece jackets” this Christmas season.

At the Crow’s Nest in Winona, the food products and the Jeremy Nativities have been the hottest selling items this year.

“Everything is going great (regarding this year’s Christmas shopping season),” said Sara Barnes of The Crow’s Nest. “We are enjoying visiting with people and we are seeing a lot of local people, but also many from out-of-town.”
