On May 30, 1968, Jerald Boyce Woods and Betty Karel Pearson made the decision to go to Rev. Jacks house to be married. It was Memorial Day and Rev. Jacks had gone fishing. They waited. Upon his return (and a quick bath), they were married.
The new couple honeymooned at the Eupora Motel -it was a nice spot for such, back in the day. And they began the first of 51 years together. Lots of ups and downs. Two kids, a move to Illinois, a son-in-law and two grandkids later, life and, now retirement, has not been what they expected. Nothing ever is. But they are happy. That is what counts! And they are loved, by all of us and by so many friends and family. Happy 51st Wedding Anniversary to Betty and J.B.!
