When I worked at First Baptist Church of Eupora, I would joke around saying, “I get paid to be nice from 8 a.m. until noon and 1-4 p.m. During that lunch hour or after work, you never know what you are going to get!”
Yesterday, my mother-in-law bought me this awesome book, “Pretending to Be a Normal Person Day After Day is Exhausting.” So funny!
When I was first diagnosed with cancer, I tried to keep up with my “normal” life. I was refusing to accept this as a thing. Three and a half years into this cancer journey, that title is so true! Normal is exhausting!
