Everyone asks why they stll have their Christmas tree up.
The angel tree topper is the same, but they have replaced ornaments with ribbons.
As part of a fundraiser for the Oktibbeha County Relay for Life, North Mississippi Medical Center’s Hemotology and Oncology office has an Angel Tree featuring the names of cancer warriors, survivors and those who have passed.
For five dollars, friends and family members can place a ribbon on the tree. Ribbons are various colors to represent the type of cancer, along with the name of the person who is battling or has battled cancer.
All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society through the Oktibbeha County Relay for Life. To place your loved ones name on the Angel Tree, stop by the Cancer Center/Hemotology and Oncology Center in Starkville. Give them a call at (662) 320-8545.
