#THANKSGIVING S.T.E.M. project – Wetu

The Wetu looks more like an Ewok hut from Star Wars, but it was part of a special project for the Webster-Montgomery County Homeschool Association.

The Wetu was a hut used by Native Americans when pilgrims began to come to this land. The S.T.E.M. project required the children to break into three groups to build a Wetu out of different materials. One of the requirements was it had to hold up to the weight of 25 pennies.
