WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT THE CHURCH YOUR ARE SERVING? The churches (Sturgis UMC and Big Creek UMC) care so deeply for other people. The churches are laid back, and welcome anyone into the church. They focus on other people and the communities needs first. It’s very amazing how well Sturgis works with her sister church Big Creek they both worship and work with each other extremely well! Both lean on each other for support. They support me very well epically as a “kid” from Carolina.

WHAT MINISTRIES IS THIS CHURCH KNOWN FOR? 

The churches are known for their great support in the local food pantry. The churches also sends out yearly Christmas baskets to the shut in. The churches also never backs down to help anyone. Sturgis is also backed and helped tremendously by Big Creek. Both churches do an outstanding job reaching souls for Christ. They both have a tremendous impact in the communities they serve.
