Belated Christmas present, arriving the 14th Day of Christmas (if there was such a thing!!) We usually take down our Christmas tree after Epiphany (Jan. 6) celebrating the full 12 Days of Christmas. This year, we did a little rearranging to put the tree in a different place. It has been a busy few days, and we got the tree out of the house last night , and the dining roon table back in it's rightful place. So now, there is adequate space to deliver our Christmas present from Mom and Dad -- a new washing machine from Stewart's Appliance in Walthall! We are both so excited, and though it is technically my present, Pepper does 98 percent of our laundry these days and he is claiming it as another Christmas present for him! Silliness! What am I going to do with him? But we are EXCITED!!!

Sometime in the mid-80's, I was in a Sunday School class or a Wednesday night class led by Joyce May Hudspeth. She made these ornaments for each member of the class. So sweet, and creative. I still can't figure out how she did this? #CHRISTMAS2018

This one is beautiful! This was not a Christmas present, but a gift for speaking at a conference early in the year. But the beads are so beautiful and look amazing on our tree! This was a gift from our friends Rev. Dr. & Mrs. Embra Jackson of Starkville. The cross is such an important reminder of the "reason for the season." #CHRISTMAS2018

This sweet little stuffed Christmas bell was attached to a present I recieved back when I worked on staff at The Starkville Daily News. The bell was handmade by my friend Jeannie Godbold of Starkville. It is a sweet reminder of a sweet friend. #CHRISTMAS2018
