Deeply disappointed

After calling M.D. Anderson all week (and leaving messages), I get a phone call yesterday afternoon at 2 p.m. to say I have lost my Monday appointment because of a conflict between the hospital and my insurance. I spent all afternoon on the phone between the hospital and the insurance. The visit was initially approved but apparently it is a money issue — the hospital will not accept the financial arrangements the insurance offered. Because I have private insurance, they will not accept me on a personal payment plan or charity. I am starting chemo on Tuesday in Starkville because I do not want to wait any longer to see if they will get this resolved — and it sounds highly unlikely. I am so disappointed this option is not working out. At the end of the day, I know that God is in control and He has a reason and a purpose for this issue. I guess I do not need to be at M.D. Anderson at this time.
