Rev. Rochelle Ashford-Minor of Liberty United Methodist Church said it is not how you start but how you finish, and Jesus finished well. Ashford-Minor served as the guest speaker for the final Lenten Lunch event at Eupora’s First United Methodist Church. Finishing up the series on Jesus’ last words from the cross, Ashford-Minor spoke on the “It is Finished” statement of Jesus. Join Eupora FUMC for Good Friday Service for holy communion and prayer on Friday, April 3 from 6-7 p.m. in the sanctuary. This will be a ‘come and go’ opportunity to pray and receive the Sacrament in remembrance of Jesus’ death on the cross, and to prepare for the glory of His resurrection on Easter Sunday!
