This year, Stephanie Contreras at Swank on Main in Maben is seeing a lot of brides using braiding and a variety of curls for their big day.
Regardless of the best hairstyle, Contreras says to make sure to do a “trial run” of the hairstyle that you choose.
“You want to make sure that it works for you and the theme or type of wedding you are having,” Contreras said.
She also suggests having all of the bridesmaids getting ready at the same time in the same area, including having their hair styled.
“This can be a fun time of laughter and making memories as well as talking about old memories,” Contreras said. “Other than that, RELAX during the time you are having your hair styled! It may be the only time that day that you get to sit and relax your thoughts and get ready to enjoy seeing your groom for the first time that day.”
