Immanuel Episcopal Church in Winona was established in 1875. It is located on the corner of Fairground Street and Summit in Winona. It is no longer an official Episcopal Church, but “Friends of Immanuel” hold interdenominational services at the church once a month.
This stained glass piece featuring the Nativity is located above the pulpit area. The stained glass throughout the church depicts some of the major stories and symbols of the Christian faith.
The organ at Immanuel is as much a treat for the eyes as for the ears, providing beautiful music for many generations of worshipers. It is just one more unique aspect to this historic landmark.
Dark crossbeams on the cathedral ceiling also play a major role in the beauty and charm of this church.
